Oakey Depot

Martins own an 81 hectare property, ideally situated on the Oakey – Pittsworth Road at Oakey.

This facility is close to the major transport hub of Toowoomba and has a fully functioning workshop facility; complete with two full length pits, brake and suspension testing equipment, wash down facilities and large hard stand parking and storage area. The workshop and administration covers an area of approximately 8500 square metres.

There is a fully manned Operations, Scheduling and Operations Administration team based at Oakey. We also have a Compliance Officer role based at the Oakey operations.

Driver accommodation is available for driver rest breaks, showers and an equipped kitchen affords the drivers the opportunity to relax whilst taking mandatory rest breaks.

Workshop Facilities

Further to the above Martins have established our own Cattle Yards and Double Deck Loading ramp on the property. All pens have permanent water troughs and we are able to feed cattle as required by the customer. We have the land and ability to expand this infrastructure as required and we have looked at plans to set an efficient and flowing unload spell and reload solution.

Dubbo Depot

Conveniently located on the western edge of the township of Dubbo and covering an area of approximately 4 hectares, the depot has dual frontage to Fitzroy Street and the Newel Highway.

The Dubbo depot is predominately used as a base for the western NSW districts and has driver facilities, refueling and parking available.

Rockhampton Depot

In 2012, Gordon Martin Pty Ltd was successful in winning the contract to supply bulk haulage transport services, both on highway and internally at the Kunwarara mine site for Sibelco.

In order to gain maximum utilisation of the equipment management opted to use predominately rigid tipper and 5 axle dog trailer combinations, operating on PBS and IAP. This is supported by standard B Double combinations as well as purpose built off road mine site based road trains.

Administration, operations and workshop facilities are all locally based in the Rockhampton depot.

This facility has been set up with the options to have Central QLD based Livestock equipment serviced without the need to get equipment back to the major workshops every time.
