Community Involvement

The general community is held with high regard with sponsorship of events all through various states of Australia. It is important to support the community which helps support us.

Dear to our hearts is the Westpac Rescue Helicopter service to which each employee donates $2-00 per week and Gordon Martin himself donates the equal donation yearly. We also bi annually hold a charity golf day for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter. This service has already helped some of our families and will continue to do so in the future.

Martins Stock Haulage and Porters Transport sponsor the Young Auctioneers annual competitions held at the Sydney Royal Easter Show and the Brisbane EKKA.

Industry Involvement

The Martin Group has been active members of both the Australian Livestock Transporters Association and the Livestock and Bulk Carriers Association.

The two associations are the fore front of industry, regarding all legislative and regulative requirements, helping our industry change with the future.

Regular newsletters, meetings and phone conversations are held with our staff advising on issues relevant to the transport industry.
