Martins Stock Haulage (QLD)

Martins Stock Haulage (QLD) is a Queensland based livestock carrier. Operating 25 prime movers and 70 trailers, the fleet is made up of Single trailers, B Double and Road Train combinations based in Oakey, Roma, Kingaroy and Rockhampton.

Previously known as Porters Transport before joining the Martin Group of Companies, they were the first livestock carrier in Queensland to operate B Double trailers on livestock. Calender year 2009 Porters Transport carted 604,955 head of cattle, travelling 4,115,000 Kms.

• All drivers are presented in company uniforms and relevant safety equipment.
• The fleet is made up of the latest technology, design and safety features for both the driver and the welfare of the livestock. Our design features being collaborated with vehicle manufactures and crate manufactures, to stay at the leading edge of the transport industry.
• The fleet consists of sheep crates and cattle crates in both single and multi trailer combinations.
• All drivers have met stringent company employment criteria and have completed company inductions and training.
• We have stockman at various sale yards, located in different areas of Australia from Victoria to the far North at Rockhampton and can arrange stockman to be where ever required by our clients.
• Occupational Health and Safety is a priority for the Group and its employees.
• Animal welfare is a major priority for our drivers.
• On long journeys we are able to arrange spelling facilities, both for livestock and drivers.
• We have transported cattle, sheep, pigs, goats and buffalo.
